Laying Birds

We have a flock of 100 laying birds.  Each day we collect the fresh eggs they lay.  They are red Sex link chickens laying a beautiful egg is various shades of brown.

Winter

During the winter the chickens move to our greenhouse.  They still have access to the outside but the greenhouse keeps them warmer and brighter encouraging better egg production throughout the winter and fertilizing the greenhouse for next year's crop

Pasture

From the spring through fall, our laying flock is rotated daily throughout our pastures.  They forage, dust bath, and explore while improving the land they interact with.  This creates and interesting and diverse diet making their eggs rich and delicious.

Eggs

Our eggs are a rich flavour with a deep yellow/orange yolk compared to a grocery store egg.  They are well loved by our customers.
