Economics are essential for a great farm
A great farm will pay the people who manage it well if they manage it well
The last building block of a great farm is the economics, because if those who manage it aren't paid well, they will be forced to stop and find a different job.
-
The people who work and run our farm are essential to the system, without them soil is not restore, water is not cleaned, pastures are not grazed, animals are not healthy, and then wildlife cannot thrive unless the humans also thrive.
-
At our farm we want our family and employees and their families to be able to thrive. We respect their essential, important work whose impacts are felt beyond the bounds of the farms we manage.
-
To identify if a farm has the economic essentials to be great, ask if it is runs with volunteers/free labour/placements?
