All the lamb is intensively rotationally grazed, and naturally weaned.  This means they are moved to fresh grass regularly sometimes as much as twice a day and the lambs are allowed to stay with their mothers until their mothers decide to wean them rather than when the farmer decides.  The lambs are fed a healthy rich diet making the lamb tender and delicious.
 
Our lamb boxes will be ready beginning of December just in time for you to enjoy through the cold winter months and to celebrate over the holidays with family.
 
The price is $19/lb with a whole lamb being around 40lbs and a half lamb being around 20lbs.  The total weight will vary so the total will be calculated upon pick up. The meat will come in cuts, wrapped, and frozen ready for your freezer. Cuts will vary depending on whole or half lamb box order but will include a combination of ground lamb, stew, rack, ribs, shoulder chops, loin chops, shanks, liver, soup bones and/or leg of lamb.   In the past, our lamb was in the top 1% of all lambs processed at the abattoir we use, which specializes in lamb.
 
We are delivering lamb this year as well as having pickup options available.  Delivery is to Peterborough, Lakefield, and Bridgenorth for an extra delivery fee. Pick up location will be near Lakefield and the exact time and date will be determined closer to the day.
